Hello, my name is Jamie. My animal id is #12397. I am a desexed male black cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 10 years old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 12-Nov-2017.
Jamie is at risk for medical concerns. He has chronic renal disease and is not responding well to treatment in the shelter environment. We have no concerns about Jamie's behaviour, he has been rated suitable for beginners.

A volunteer writes: Jamie is a sweet, calm and gentle cat who enjoys the attention. As you can see from the video, he loves to be petted on his cheeks and rubs against my hand. He wanted to hang out with me even after I spent some time petting him! He'll be your purrfect cat to cuddle with at home.
